Many skiers and snowboarders from overseas come here in search of powder snow, which is said to be the best snow quality in the world.
2. Asahidake Ropeway connects Sanroku Station (Base Station) at the foot of the mountain to Sugatami Station which sits approximately 1,600 meters above sea level.
3. After arriving at Asahidake Ropeway Sugatami Station, walk with snowshoes over vast fields of snow while gazing out at majestic Asahidake. Feel the power of the active volcano Asahidake near the fumaroles, which can only be accessed during the snowy season.

4. There will be an accompanying English-speaking guide from the Asahidake Ropeway Sanroku Station.
