Sagano Bamboo Grove & Arashiyama Walking Tour + Kyoto Afternoon Tour

  • Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine

  • Sagano Bamboo Grove Path

  • Kiyomizu-dera Temple

  • Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine

  • Tour Details
1. This course combines Kyoto’s popular Sagano Bamboo Grove & Arashiyama Walking Tour and Kyoto Afternoon Tour. This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.

2. In the morning, enjoy strolling around scenic Arashiyama and the famous Sagano Bamboo Grove.
Enjoy the ever-popular Arashiyama which offers different scenery every season, be it the cherry blossoms of spring, the fresh greens of summer, the colored leaves of autumn, or the snowy scenescapes of winter.
3.Visit the beautiful temple gardens of Tenryuji, a World Heritage Site considered as one of Kyoto's best Zen temples.
4.Enjoy panoramic views of Kyoto City from Jojakko-ji Temple, renowned for its beautiful scenery of colorful leaves in autumn and green blankets of moss in summer.
5.Enjoy the scenery of Togetsukyo Bridge and Arashiyama from aboard the yakatabune.

6. In the afternoon, tour by bus around some distinct shrines and temples including World Heritage Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Discover why this ancient political capital of Japan is now its history and sightseeing capital!

7. Visit the location that users of a travel website said they most want to visit in Japan—Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine. This spot is known for its thousands of brilliant red torii gates, called Senbon Torii. Sanjusangen-do Temple's main hall houses around 1,000 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century, with all that see this sight being blown away. The road leading to Kiyomizu-dera Temple is lined with rows of souvenir shops, great for shopping.

8. After the tour, participants will be dropped off at the following locations: Kyoto Hotel Okura, Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto (*limited to staying guests), Karasuma Kyoto Hotel, Sunrise Tours Desk in Avanti (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit), Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto, Kyoto Hotel Tokyu, ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto, Kyoto Tower (Kyoto Station Karasuma Exit)

This tour promotes Environment(Eco)-friendly efforts and Cross-cultural Understanding as stated under Sunrise Tours' Sustainable Development Goals.
We advocate for responsible travel, and urge one and all to become responsible travelers.
