1. This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed Chinese Guide Interprete.
Freely enjoy a day trip using a chartered vehicle to Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, a place difficult to reach with public transportation, and appreciate Japan’s unspoilt scenery.
The snow lanterns handmade by visitors and flower lanterns (electric lights) that beautifully light up the thatched roof village create a magical winter scene.
The picturesque view of illuminated snow-covered thatched roofs is especially a must-see attraction.

About Miyama Kayabuki no Sato:
Miyama Kayabuki no Sato is a designated Important Traditional Building Preservation District. Many of the houses with thatched roofs built around 220 years ago in the Edo period (1603-1868) to 150 years ago in the Meiji period (1868-1912) remain, and today, 39 of the 50 houses still have traditional thatched roofs.

2. On Jan. 31, 2024 (Wed.) and Feb. 3, 2024 (Sat.), customers can revel in the sight of a fireworks display lighting up the winter night sky (scheduled to start from around 18:30, approx. 5 min).
Enjoy the beautiful scenery created by the thatched roof village and winter fireworks.
*The day of the fireworks display is usually very crowded.

3. Customers can let their creativity flow as they experience making their own snow lanterns.
*May be canceled if there is no snowfall or depending on weather conditions.
Please note that in case the experience is canceled, partial refunds will not be provided for the tour booking charge.
