  • Tour Details

1. With a long history of over 1,500 years, sumo is considered as Japan’s national sport, and is an inherent part of the country’s tradition. Customers on this tour can get their hands on a ticket for the grand sumo tournament, and will be accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter who knows a lot about sumo to the venue where they can watch the thrilling bouts between impressive sumo wrestlers.
2. After listening to the English-speaking guide’s talk on sumo, watching the fierce bouts is sure to get customers hyped up more about the grand sumo tournament.
3. The tournament in Fukuoka is the last Grand Sumo Tournament venue for 2023, capping off the year’s tournament series. Tickets are greatly popular and hard to come by especially for the last tournament day (Nov. 26), which are offered on this tour.
4. A-class seating will be provided. As seats are limited, make sure to book early!
5. This tour promotes Environment(Eco)-friendly efforts and Cross-cultural Understanding as stated under Sunrise Tours' Sustainable Development Goals.
We advocate for responsible travel, and urge one and all to become responsible travelers.
