At reception, please show the printed copy of the reservation confirmation sheet or a printout of the reservation confirmation e-mail. Simply showing the confirmation on a mobile device screen will not be accepted. Customers who forget to bring the sheet will be unable to board.

The cruise may be canceled depending on weather conditions. In this case, customers will be notified through the contact information specified by the customer at the time of booking.
When booking, please be sure to enter correctly an email address or phone number at which you can be reached during your trip.
In case of inclement weather, customers may contact the conducting company themselves directly via the official website or by phone to inquire about operation status.

If the cruise is canceled due to inclement weather, a full refund will be issued if customers do not request a switch to another cruise. Please contact the agent that handled your tour booking within 7 days of the planned tour date.
For customers that would like a switch, it is possible to switch to another cruise on the same day or the following day. Please handle switch procedures on your own on site. In this event, reception will be possible with the original voucher. Also, please note that in the event that other cruises are canceled or already have full seating, accommodation may not be possible.
However, please note that if a customer is unable to attend the tour owing to their own circumstances no refunds will be issued.
Even in case of cancellation, please note that transportation expenses to the location will not be refunded.
As drift ice is a natural phenomenon, you may be unable to see it in some cases.
If there is no drift ice along the route, the cruise will be for sightseeing only. In this case, a partial refund of JPY 720 per adult and JPY 360 per child will be issued.
For cancellations owing to absence of drift ice, the designated cancellation fee will apply.
The cruise will last around 60 minutes depending on drift ice conditions.

Make sure to check in advance the transportation method from your previous night's accommodation and travel time for the tour day, and make a reservation that will allow you to arrive on time.
As the roads are frozen, customers who will be arriving by car are advised to leave plenty of time to reach the location.
Please note that refunds cannot be issued in the event that a customer did not make it on time due to their own circumstances.
*If customers will be driving a car, on winter roads it will take about 150 minutes from Utoro, about 90 minutes from Shari, about 180 minutes from Akanko (Lake Akan), about 120 minutes from Kawayu Onsen district, about 300 minutes from Kushiro City, and about 280 minutes from the Sounkyo Onsen district. Roads may also be closed due to a snowstorm, etc., so please be careful when booking your previous night's accommodation.
