  • Uesugi Shrine (Photo for illustrative purposes only)

  • Matsugasaki Park (Photo for illustrative purposes only)

  • Experience plan Details

1. This plan includes a kimono dress-up experience in a "Yonezawa-ori" woven kimono, a style of kimono weave that has continued since the Edo period (1603-1868)!
2. Yonezawa-ori is a beautiful fabric woven from threads dyed with natural vegetation. When you first put your arms through the sleeves of these traditionally woven kimonos, you'll be surprised by how light they are. The kimono dress-up location, Nagomi-tei, is located next to the famed Yonezawa Castle Ruins, so customers can enjoy exploring the area while wearing their kimono.
3. Also includes a free 1-drink ticket to use at Nagomi-tei. Take a break on your stroll to enjoy a cup of coffee or green tea!
