This tour visits a nighttime event in an area covered in deep snow. When booking, please be aware that the characteristics of the tour may make participation difficult for customers bringing small children and those with difficulty walking. The tour destinations and interior of facilities to be visited are not wheelchair accessible. Customers who have difficulty walking are advised to participate with a companion.
The bus number and seat will be assigned. Parties may be separated during seating if the need arises. Specific seats cannot be requested.
The tour may be shared with customers from other travel companies.
The bus will not make stops midway. Transportation on the day is reserved, so guests cannot leave, join, or disembark the tour midway. Requests on the day cannot be accepted.

The illumination is scheduled for 17:30 - 19:30.
Please note that the illumination event may change without prior notice according to the Shirakawa-go Illumination Display Organizing Committee. The order of itinerary may change and arrival times may be greatly delayed depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations. Even if the arrival time is delayed, no compensation will be given for flights, accommodation, meals, taxi fares, etc.
After returning, staying at an accommodation near Toyama Station is recommended. Upon return to Toyama, the accompanying tour staff will be unable to assist with changes to tickets reserved by customers, new reservations, and cancellations related to previously reserved tickets, etc.
This course views the illumination from the thatched-roof village. There will be no sightseeing from the observation deck. The plan including observation deck admission ticket can be booked using the following tour code.

A Japanese-speaking guide will accompany participants on this tour. Written explanations are available on the day in English and Chinese. No sightseeing information will be provided by the guide on the bus.

Children age 0-5 may participate free of charge if they do not require their own seat on the bus (they must instead sit on the lap of their parent or guardian). Please make a booking at the Child rate if a bus seat is required. Ages are determined based on how old the participant will be on the day of the tour.

[Important Notes/Supplements: What to Wear/Bring]
In January and February the ground at Shirakawago is slippery due to snow, and the temperatures are also quite low. Please bring warm winter clothing and shoes with good traction (temperatures will be below freezing). Also, please bring gloves, hat, scarf, etc. As thatched roof houses catch fire easily, smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area. Please return any trash back to the store of purchase, or bring trash home with you. As the venue is on a private property, house interiors and gardens are off limits.
