1. Get special access to a route built during the construction of the Kurobegawa No. 4 Power Station, which is normally closed to the public.
Look forward to scenes that can only be seen on this route which goes around massive power supply facilities and other areas spread out across hidden regions underground.
2. Stay at Hotel Tateyama situated at 2,450 meters above sea level, one of the highest points of the popular Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.
3. Experience riding 10 kinds of transportation throughout the itinerary. Take advantage of this opportunity to ride vehicles normally used only by construction workers including a funicular used to transport materials and equipment.
4. At the Ainokura Village in World Heritage Gokayama, wander amidst the historical scenery of thatched-roof houses built approximately 100-350 years ago while reveling in the beautiful colors of autumn leaves.
5. At the woodcarving town of Inami, visit a woodcarving workshop, get an up-close look at the skills of artisans, and try your hand at creating a large sake cup. Under the artisan’s supervision, experience freely making a wooden creation using actual chisels and wood mallets while immersed in the scent of wood. Take your enjoyment to the next level by sampling some sake using the sake cup you made!
