On this tour perfect for winter, customers can freely go on a 1-day tour, round trip from Kyoto City using the JR limited express train, to savor the winter flavors of crab which can only be enjoyed during the crab fishing season from Nov. 7 to Mar. 31.

2. Taiza crab is the name for Matsuba crab fished in Taiza Bay off Tango Peninsula on the northern part of Kyoto.
Crabs are caught, auctioned, and served on the same day. They are remarkably fresh and have such an excellent meat quality that many celebrities and chefs praise it for having "a rank unlike any other crab" and "an unforgettable taste."

Savor Taiza crab with a full-course meal put together by connoisseurs at Shorenkan Yoshinoya, a long-established ryokan founded about 90 years ago.
(*Please refer to the itinerary for menu details.)

3. A chartered vehicle will be used for round-trip shuttle transfer between the Kyoto City accommodation and Kyoto Station.
