  • Hirosaki Castle

  • Tour Details
1. Delight in the beautiful seasonal landscape with a visit to Hirosaki Castle, which features Japan's northernmost extant main keep and is a designated important cultural property. This 1-day tour includes a trip to Goshogawara City's Tachineputa Museum, which displays impressive festival floats symbolic of summer, and Takayama Inari Shrine, where visitors can find themselves amidst a seemingly otherworldly scenery. The tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.
2. Visit one of Japan's important cultural properties, Hirosaki Castle, which features the only extant castle keep in Tohoku complemented by cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, or a blanket of snow. While it is known as one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in the Tohoku region, it also presents different views throughout the seasons including vibrant autumn leaves and snowy winter landscapes.
3. Rows of brilliant red torii gates called Senbon Torii at Takayama Inari Shrine create a captivating spectacle. Onlookers will feel as if they've come to another world.
