1. A sacred place for Japan's mountain worship, Nikko is home to the "Shrines and Temples of Nikko," a registered World Heritage Site. On this tour, walk around World Heritage component sites such as Nikko Toshogu Shrine together with a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter. In small groups, customers go on a course where they can learn more about Japan while listening to explanations in English about Nikko's history, culture, and faith.

2. For lunch, a Japanese-style meal will be served.
*Lunch on this plan will be a standard menu meal. For those who would like a vegetarian meal, please be sure to book the corresponding plan instead.

3. On this tour, a limited express train will be used for the round trip between Shinjuku and Nikko.

- Bookings are accepted until 12:00 noon on the day prior to the tour. Please make a reservation on the system until the reservation deadline.

- If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled.

- For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.

- As the 2024 railway timetable has been decided, this plan is now available until Dec. 2024 (Updated: Dec. 19, 2023).
[Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations]

- The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions, events, ceremonies, or other reasons.

- Public transportation will be used to move around on this tour. At Nikko, customers may be unable to sit on board route buses as it may be crowded.

- In case access to Kanmangafuchi Abyss is deemed unsafe due to road surface freezing, etc., if Nikko Toshogu Shrine cannot be entered, or due to other operation circumstances, the tour may be taken to another destination. In such a case, it will be one of the following.

　　Futarasan Shrine or Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple

- In general, the transfer from Shinjuku to Nikko will be a direct limited express train from JR Shinjuku Station to Tobu Nikko Station (also used for the return trip). However, due to timetable alterations or operation circumstances, the transportation to be used may be changed to JR Tohoku Shinkansen (non-reserved seat) + conventional line train, or a limited express train departing from Tobu Asakusa Station + subway. In any case, the transportation/limited express fare for the transportation route is included in the tour booking charge, and the guide will also accompany the tour from departure from Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo until arrival at Shinjuku Station.
[Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Children/Infants]

- Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with lunch and train seats. If lunch or train seats are required, please make a booking under the child rate.

- A Japanese-style meal with meat and fish will be served.

*There is a separate tour code for those who prefer a vegetarian meal, so please book that instead if preferred. Same-day changes cannot be made.

*Muslim-friendly meals, allergy-friendly meals, gluten-free meals, etc. are not available.
[Important Notes/Supplements: What to Wear/Bring]

- As there are slopes and stairs areas around Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kanmangafuchi Abyss, wearing shoes with good traction and clothing easy to walk in as well as using a backpack are recommended. (A distance of about 5 km will be covered.)

- As there are land leeches from April to November, please be sure to keep your legs covered. We recommend wearing thick socks that cover the ankles and bringing bug spray.
