  • Tour Details
1. Visit Omicho Market, known as the kitchen of Kanazawa City’s residents, lined with approximately 170 shops.
2. Experience making temarizushi (ball-shaped sushi) using fresh, local ingredients sourced from Omicho Market. Choose your preferred ingredients from 15 kinds, including 5-6 kinds of fish and 5 kinds of vegetables. Approximately 7 pieces of temarizushi (refills available), seasonal dessert, and Kaga roasted twig tea are included. During the experience, Kanazawa crafts such as Kutani ware and Kanazawa lacquerware are lavishly used.
3. The experience venue is an exclusive experience facility renovated from a 100-year-old Japanese-style house typical of Kanazawa, where the old townscape still remains. Proceeds from the experience sales are used for efforts to preserve and pass on old Japanese-style houses.
4. Enjoy some matcha green tea and Japanese confectionery in a tea room where customers  can appreciate the tea ceremony culture and Ohi ware, a type of pottery with a history of more than 350 years.
5. The accompanying National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter will provide support, so feel free to communicate.
6. This tour promotes Environment(Eco)-friendly efforts, Cross-cultural Understanding, and Social Contribution as stated under Sunrise Tours' Sustainable Development Goals.
