 1. With a long history of over 1,500 years, sumo is one of Japan's most iconic sports, and is an inherent part of Japan's traditional culture. From Nagoya Station, there will be an accompanying English-speaking National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter from the local area. Feel the atmosphere of Nagoya while learning about the local culture on this tour.
2. The tour also visits Nagoya's must-see spot, Nagoya Castle! (Admission fee included) Also enjoy visiting Kinshachi Yokocho, a popular commercial facility. *The main castle tower cannot be entered as it is currently closed due to restoration work.
3. Even locals have a hard time getting tickets to the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament. As this is a popular tour, make sure to book soon!

At reception, please show the reservation confirmation sheet or e-mail (printout/digital copy on mobile device) to staff.

- If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.

- The last reception day (reservation deadline) is 4 days prior to the tour at 0:00.

- Bookings for groups comprising only child customers are not allowed.

- Customers using wheelchairs and their accompanying companion (up to 1 person) may be led to exclusive seating depending on seat reservations. Please input in the Remarks field if you or any member of your group is using a wheelchair and contact the tour operator.

 Exclusive seating is limited, so after booking, please contact the sumo association for inquiries. Bookings cannot be accepted if there are no seats left. Thank you for your understanding.

 Participants who are not using wheelchairs but have trouble walking must participate with a companion.

 Some areas do not have adequate handicap access. Please be aware that some areas may require detours, or may not be visitable even with an accompanying companion depending on participants' conditions.

- This tour does not include meal charges (both lunch and dinner), transportation expenses to the meeting location, and other personal expenses.
[Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations]

- For the grand sumo tournament viewing, customers will be provided reserved chair seating in section A (2nd floor seats).

Depending on reservations, members of the same group may not be seated together. Requests for specific seats are not accepted.

- Smoking is not allowed inside the venue.

- While the tour booking charge includes admission fee to Nagoya Castle and Grand Sumo Tournament viewing charges, refunds will not be provided even if a customer does not enter a facility for their own reason, if boarding tickets are not used, etc.

There are cases when entry to Nagoya Castle is restricted without prior notice. On such days, the tour will be guided outside only. Refunds will not be issued even in this case. (Currently, Nagoya Castle's main castle tower cannot be entered. Sections other than the main castle tower are open to the public.)

- The times noted in the itinerary are estimates only, and may vary depending on circumstances. The order of the itinerary may be changed depending on public transportation and road conditions or congestion at destinations, or to ensure the smooth flow of the tour. There may be changes to the arrival time(s). Even if the arrival time is delayed, no compensation will be given for flights, accommodation, meals, taxi fares, etc., and assistance in changing reservations or other procedures will not be offered. If making plans for before or after the tour on the same day, and for those joining from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc., please leave enough time in your schedule.

- This tour departs at 13:00 according to schedule. Customers who do not make it to the departure time will be considered as having canceled on the day. Customers may not join partway through the tour.

- Please note that you may have to wait to be taken to your seat if one of the following events is underway at the time: a sumo match, the ring entering procession of the Makuuchi division wrestlers (dohyoiri), the ring entering procession of the Yokozuna, the ritual stomping ceremony, or a speech by the Sumo Association (on the first and the last tournament day). In such a case, you will be taken to your seat when the event is over.
[Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Children/Infants]

- Only 1 child 0-3 years old per adult may join for free. Grand Sumo Tournament viewing seats will not be provided for them. They will have to sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. Ages are determined based on how old the participant will be on the day of the tour. (If seats are required, please make a booking at the Adult rate.)
[Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Meals]

- Meals are not included. Customers may have dinner at a shop or cafeteria inside the tournament venue, or at Kinshachi Yokocho (http://kinshachi-y.jp/en/index.html), or have a meal on your own after the tour ends.

- This tour is conducted on foot and via public transportation. Please participate in shoes and clothes which are easy to walk in.

- Please note that there are no coin lockers or luggage storage service in the venue, so please leave large luggage at any storage counter, locker, etc. or reduce your belongings to a minimum before departure from Nagoya Station.
