  • Tour Details
1. This course combines the Kyoto Afternoon Tour, which visits some of Kyoto's distinct shrines and temples including World Heritage Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and the Kyoto Night Tour, which offers customers the opportunity to experience Japan’s traditional culture. This tour is accompanied by a National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter.
*The tour consists of a bus tour (Kyoto Afternoon Tour) until entry to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and a walking tour (Kyoto Night Tour) afterwards.

2. Visit the location that users of a travel website said they most want to visit in Japan—Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine. This spot is known for its thousands of brilliant red torii gates, called Senbon Torii.
3. Sanjusangen-do Temple's main hall houses around 1,000 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century, with all that see this sight being blown away.
4. The road leading to Kiyomizu-dera Temple is lined with rows of souvenir shops, great for shopping.

5. At Gion Corner, enjoy some of Japan’s traditional performing arts such as a traditional Kyoto dance, tea ceremony, flower arrangement, koto music, bugaku (court dance and music), kyogen (traditional Japanese comic theater), bunraku (Japanese puppet theatre), or a noh play.
*Either bunraku or noh depending on the season.
6. From Gion Corner to Gion Yoshi-Ima, enjoy a stroll while taking in the atmosphere of the town of Gion beautifully lit by paper lanterns in the evening.
7. This tour offers a special experience of having tea by candlelight in a traditional tea room in the courtyard of the ryokan.
8. Relish a Zen-style dinner focused on vegetarian cuisine.
