Tour Details
1. Standing on vast grounds approximately 20,000 sqm in the town of Otaki in Chiba Prefecture, Marugayatsu is a 200-year-old traditional Japanese-style house where guests can experience Japan's countryside.
2. As the house is exclusive to 1 group per day, customers can enjoy spending time in a space all to themselves. *1
3. Look forward to interacting with the locals through experiences such as preparing a meal with a local grandma and cooking on a Japanese traditional stove.
4. Round-trip private hired car transport from the customer’s hotel in Tokyo is included, so feel free to enjoy the tour in comfort.
5. There will be an accompanying National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter for 2 days from departing the Tokyo hotel accommodation until arrival, so even those who are concerned about communicating in Japanese can freely participate.
6. During the Yoro Valley hiking, the tour will take a hiking course recommended for beginners. Freely enjoy majestic nature to the fullest!*2

- Bookings may be made until 60 days before the tour departure. Please make a reservation on the system.
- If the minimum number of participants (2) is not met by 60 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be canceled.
- The itinerary displayed on the booking screen is the final itinerary. A copy of the final itinerary will not be sent to participants.
- This is a special tour for international visitors. Please understand that residents of Japan cannot make bookings for this tour.

- Yoro Valley Hiking (Waterfall Tour Course) is approximately 4 km, requiring around 90 minutes.
- In case of rain, the itinerary will be changed to Otaki Castle and Otaki castle town sightseeing instead of Yoro Valley hiking.
- For itineraries including experience programs at Marugayatsu, refunds will not be issued in case of cancellation by the customer due to their own circumstances.
- There are various experience programs available at Marugayatsu. If arrangements are made on a request basis during the customer’s stay, additional charges are to be paid on site.

- Customers will be picked up at their accommodation by the National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter. However, pick-up locations are limited to accommodations within Tokyo's 23 wards.
- At the time of booking, please indicate the name of your prior night's accommodation.

- Customers will be accompanied by the National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter from pick-up at their accommodation on Day 1 until drop-off at their accommodation on Day 2.

- Children 0-5 years old who do not require beddings and meals may join the tour free of charge, but as child seats are required on board the hired car, please indicate the number of young children and their ages at the time of booking.

- If there are any ingredients that customers cannot eat due to allergies, etc., please be sure to notify at the time of reservation.
- Lunch for Day 1 and Day 2 is not included in the tour booking charge.
- Dinner will be the meal prepared together with the local grandma.
- Day 1 dinner and Day 2 breakfast will be served at the barn right next to the Kaya rental house accommodation. For those who want to have the meal at the Kaya rental house accommodation instead, please make a request to the Marugayatsu staff on the day.
- While drinks from the guestroom refrigerator (sake, juice, tea, water) are free during the stay, other replenishments and additional items for the rest of the stay are not included.
