  • Tour Details
1. This 1-day private tour takes customers to some of the Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region as well as Nagasaki's scenic spots.

2. Visit Shitsu Village in the district of Sotome, located a little far from the city center.  One of the Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region, this area is registered as a World Heritage Site. Behold the Shitsu Church and other facilities which still stand to this day, and get a glimpse into the people's way of life at that time.

3. On the second half of the tour, visit Urakami Cathedral and Oura Cathedral in the center of the city. Urakami Cathedral is a symbol of faith for the hidden Christians. It was also rebuilt after being devastated by the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. As a relic of the bombing, it is a valuable presence that conveys the importance of peace today. Oura Cathedral is the oldest existing church in Japan, and is a World Heritage Site where the miracle of the "Discovery of Hidden Christians," when hidden Christians professed their faith, took place.

4. For the last leg of the tour, visit the Inasayama Observatory. Overlooking Nagasaki City from 333 meters above sea level, this scenic spot offers a grand panorama of Nagasaki Port and the cityscape during the day.

5. This is a private tour where a charter vehicle is provided for each group of customers along with a guide.
